This 1970 Cyclone Spoiler was purchased new at johnny Hass Motors in Lakewood, Colorodo, 80215 on 10/19/1970 a full year after it was built on 10/20/1969. It stayed in colorodo until 2006 when it came to Pa. this is why it has all the original sheetmetal. This is a very very rare Mercury cyclone spoiler, mercury's only muscle car that was made for only 2 years, this was the first year being only 1631 ever made in 1970, out of this number there was only 214 painted in grabber green. How many are left today? This came from the factory with it's 429 Cobra jet motor which is matching number. The trans was a C6 auto from the factory but was replaced with every corrct part from another cyclone spoiler that was a 429 SCJ that had a 4-spped so all the correct equipment is there. These are very hard to come across in any condition but this one is in very good condition and has all of it's original body panels. The paint is very shiny and clean and super smooth. The car starts right up and WOW it has so much power even for being just stock. These were rated at 360 hp but that was a joke these were really near 425 hp. Also has the functional ram air hood with the special air cleaner assembly. All the gauges fucntion and the interior is near mint original condition. Near every one of these car had a cracked dash, which i believe to date is not remade yet. This dash is 100% perfect as well as the reat of the interior.
