1971 Buick GSX

1971 Buick GSX
1971 BUICK GSX 1 OUT OF 124 ONLY MADE VERY RARE CAR

This is a original 1971 Buick GSX 455 car. Yes this is a original, NOT A CLONE, 1 of only 124 ever made in 71 that includes 350, 455 and 455 stage 1 cars all together. This has never been registered in the GSX registry until about a week ago. This car was not known to exist until it was discovered a little while ago. There are 3 known so far out of all 1971 GXS's to have a paint code of 62 which is Bittersweet Mist. The others Bittersweet Mist GSX's are restored one is only a 350 engine and 350 auto tranny car. The other is a stage 1 455 car. So this is the only 455 engine 1971 GSX made in the color Bittersweet Mist to date. I have talked to the original owner and have a document that has been signed by him and notorized stating that this is a true 1971 GSX, which he bought on march 12, 1971. I have the original protecto plate. No build sheet was found in the car. This car is a 3 owner car, and can be traced to every owner and all the owners are still alive. This was bought brand new at Key Buick & Opel in Jacksonville, Florida on 3/12/71. It stayed in Florida until mid 1979, then it went to the last of the 3 owners in Alabama where it stayed until about a month ago 2/1/08. Now it resides with me here in Pa. This was always a southern car and is about 98% rust free. It has just a little around the back rear window and a pin hole in the rear seat pan and where the battery box is, that was because of a leaky battery but thats it. I have alot of picture of the doors, trunk, floors, fenders, rad support, frame, etc and all of that is 100% solid. This is a very original car with the exception for the block as it was damaged back in the late 1970's and could not be repaired so it was changed with another but the rest of the car is all near original as you see it in the video. This car has had the passenger side door fixed back in 1971 only 3 months after it was new this was told to me by the original owner. The paint is nearly all original with the exception for the drivers door and rear quater. The interior, transmission, which is the original matching numbers turbo 400, original posi rear end, suspension, etc. This is a unmolested car that still retains, from what I can tell, all of it's original sheetmetal with the exception of the drivers door from what I can tell. you can see in the pictures the faded original paint as well as the original faded painted GSX stripes and hood treatment and the faded GSX decals. This car has a tanish interior and has the following options 455 motor, automatic, air conditioning, GSX option, Bittersweet Mist paint, tan interior, courtesy light package, front and rear bumperettes, power steering, power disk brakes, 15" ralley rims. It is sometimes hard to find 1970 GSX's but there out there as they made 678 and they only came in 2 colors yellow or white now compare that to a 1971 GSX which they only made 124 period and you can get them now in special order colors because every GSX had to be special ordered, that was the only way you could get one. If anyone wants a chance to restore and own a original 1971 GSX here is your chance. These cars in very strong #2 condition or #1 will bring near $100,000 because of what they are. Hello everyone, I would like to add this update. The car was inspected by a very well know GSX expert ( Duane Heckman of philadelphia, pa.)yesterday 03/09/08. He shared his findings and pictures with a other well known GSX restorer's and this is what they came up with THIS IS A GENUINE 1971 GSX. He took every date code he could find. He proved that the car has all of it's original sheetmetal with the exception of the drivers side door. The drivers door is a genuine GM part but was put on the car a couple months after it was purchased. There was some damage on the very front of the drivers side quater as well. This is why the black paint is mostly off the drivers side stripe. These 2 areas were repainted in 1971 as well as the stripes. Now the rest of the car still reatains it's original paint and stripes as well as GSX decals. The proof is in the stripes being that they are original to the car. The spoiler, tach, wheels, interior, bumpers, hoodlight assemblys, are all original to the car. There is also a twist to this car. This is the only known 1971 GSX to have the option W4 as this was protective body side moldings. This was discovered in the inspection. There is not 1 other GSX out there with this option known to exist to date. It'd not a impressive option and everybody didn't order it when they ordered the car but the original owner did. All of the options on the car was also verified. I hope this helps everyone out. Now there is proof on this car and it is now documented as a true original 1971 GSX in bittersweet mist. if anyone has any questions about the inspection please email me or call. Thanks for your interes If anyone has any questions please email me or call Me(Marty) at 570-875-7109. (more) View Listing

1969 Chevrolet Camaro

1969 Chevrolet Camaro
1969 CAMARO SS PRO TOURING BLACK ON BLACK WITH 750 HP

Ok Camaro fans here we go. This is one beautiful pro touring 1969 Camaro ss. It is a beautiful Black on Black with just a little hint of white in the SS emblems, BF Goodrich white letter tires and the interior white gauges to set it off. This makes for one stunning Camaro. What makes it pro touring, well for starters. This is a X-11 car. This is a original camaro ss 350 car. The car does not have the 350 or the 350 tranny anymore, there history but in there place is a totally new professionally built and installed 466 engine, which is a 454 bored .30 over. This is new with about 300 miles since done. The engine is built up with cam and has gear drive and some other internal goodies but it's what is on top that counts which is a 871 Weiand fully polished pro- street super charger blower assembly with dual Holly carbs. This is the top of the line supercharger that Weiand makes for a big block chevrolet. The car has a temp controled electric fan with a new radiator. The car also has tranny cooler installed. Now the motor takes up so much room the heater box had to be removed but, your not going to be drinving this kind of car in any cold weather so out it came. Everthing on the motor and motor compartment is polished stainless steel, aluminum or chrome. Every nut & bolt, bracket, pulleys, throttle assembly, linkage, alternator, water pump, master cylinder, power booster, well you get the idea. The transmission is a 400 turbo that has been built up to handle the 750+ horsepower. It is also new as well as the torque convertor, flywheel, flywheel cover, deep aluminum transmission pan, seals, etc. Now the car has a new 4 wheel disk drilled rotor braking system is from SSBC and wilwood. The polished master cylinder and brake booster, with lines and canister are a top of the line kit form SSBC and the cars front brakes are oversized brand new GM calipers with new drilled vented rotors and the back is a Brand new complete Wilwood brake system with drilled vented rotors, which are as big as the front rotors, aluminum calipers which have 4 pistons in each caliper. This kit also has the parking brake kit as well which also is new and does cost extra, of course everything does. The rear end is a 12 bolt posi rear unit with 3:73 Moser gears with heavy duty Moser engineering cover. All the seals, bearings and gaskets are all new also. The interior is perfect with no rips or tears anywhere. The seats were redone, perfect carpet and dash. The door panels are perfect as well as the seat belt and headliner, visors, etc. The interior is in perfect show condition. Now the car does have custom gauges that replaced the original ones to give it a better look to go with the outside. The white gauges really stand out with the car being black on black. The gauges assembly is brand new, they are auto meter Phantom white face gauges. There is 8 in all. 160 mph speedo, tach, water temp, volt, fuel, oil pressure, transmission temp and boost gauge. They are funtion and work as they should. The interior also has billet pedal assemblies as you can see in the pictures. Now to the body of the car. This is a super solid original sheetmetal car. It was taken apart and then sanded and painted and put back together so that all the black paint went everywhere. There was a new custom cowl hood installed to accomodate the blower assembly, which has finished sides where it comes down around the blower, makes for a real nice look. Now the body was done for awhile before the other work was done so it has more miles on it than the drivetrian and all the new parts, But it still shows very nice. The underneath of this car is absolutly perfect and is painted and still looks new. The outside of the car has a couple very small pebble chips from being driven but very small and very few. The quaters, floors, doors, fenders, trunk areas are perfect and solid as they should be for a car of this kind. The rest of the outside is in perfect condition like the bumpers, trim, emblems, glass, grill, lights, etc. The car has new weatherstripping and body bushings also. The rims are brand new as well as the rest of the car. They are American racing torque thrust II fully polished wheels 15x7 in front and 15x8 in the rear. The tires are brand new Bf Goodrich radial tires 215/65/r15 in front and 275/60/r15 in the rear. Now to handle the power the frame has been tied together and rear traction bars have been added. This car is always garged and kept undercover and is only taken out in nice weather and is parked most of the time and now need to go to a good home for someone to enjoy for many years to come. This is the kind of car that, yes does have a higher end restore having over $65K into it but you can still drive it, show it and enjoy it. It was built to drive and boy does it ever. This car was and is adult owned. It was built to perform. You can drive a car and feel what it can do without abusing it. I have to much respect for a vehicle like this to abuse it. This car could be in any muscle car showroom along side restored hemi Cudas, shelby Mustangs, etc. and show with the best of them. This car was in the Notre Dame Cavelcade wheels show and did won Showcase. This was before alot of other new parts were added. The drivetrain was just finished at that time about 300 Miles ago. This is a near perfect showroom condition car that has some very limited babied miles on it. You can have all the power of a hemi or boss, with about another 300 hp on top of that for alot less money. What could be a better addition to your collection this spring than this beautiful piece of american history right before you? You are correct nothing! This car has everything, looks, sound and power all in one. Why build a 1969 SS pro touring Camaro and spend alot more than you can buy this one for? This one is ready right now for you to enjoy this summer and many summers down the road. Save some of your hard earned View Listing
